On July 13, Sinopec Jingmen Petrochemical Rocket Kerosene was loaded and delivered from the aviation kerosene tank farm of the Storage and Transportation Department for the first time, marking that Sinopec Jingmen Petrochemical Complex has become the first enterprise of Sinopec to successfully develop aerospace kerosene, and Sinopec has achieved zero breakthrough in the application of aerospace kerosene.

With the strong support of the Refining Business Unit, Jingmen Petrochemical, in collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Beijing Aerospace Experimental Technology Research Institute, has established a space kerosene research team to continuously explore and optimize operating parameters, strengthen production and operation management, and produce commercial space kerosene that meets standard requirements by the end of 2022.
